Co-cathedral of Santa María
CONCATEDRAL DE SANTA MARÍA (Co-cathedral of Santa María)
The Co-cathedral of Santa María was built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries over an earlier structure. Its facades follow gothic models and its interior is rectangular with three naves with pointed arches and vaults. The altarpiece, made of unpolychromed cedar and pine wood, is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin.
In its interior, the chapel of Carvajals is remarkable, with an altarpiece dedicated to the Archangel San Miguel. A descendant of this family, Mrs. Dolores de Carvajal, financed the restoration and installation of new stained glasses in the temple. This work was carried out between 1962 and 1963.
Its design included a flower drawn inside a circle as shown in the figure attached. If the perimeter of the flower is 20 m, could you calculate the radius of the circle?
